Sunsets on the Sound

This was our most favorite vacation ever! Sunrises and sunsets on the balcony was amazing and so beautiful, the pool, game room and being right at the water made it even better! We loved the little town and being 20 mins either way to bigger cities made the eating, shopping and adventures a blast! We did the jet skis right up the road from the condo- awesome awesome! The condo was amazingly loaded up with everything needed! Lots of extra blankets, the beach towels were such a blessing and the place was beautiful! Beds were super comfy, TV instructions may seem intimidating- they are not! SUPER easy just follow the instruction! Wine/drink fridge& Ice maker were a huge hit! We have already decided we will be coming back for another trip soon and our family vacation will be here for sure next year! Thanks for the perfect place! Loved it!

Wow, what a wonderful vacation! This condo has it all. Clean, beautifully decorated, and every amenity needed for a seamless transition from your home to theirs. The condo has a wrap around porch not only accessible from the living room but also from two of the three bedrooms … directly overlooking the sound. Sitting out there in the mornings with coffee and in the evenings watching stunning sunsets made this location super special. Oh and I can’t forget to say that each bedroom having its own bathroom was just so wonderful! Our stay (May) we were able to turn off the A/C, and open the windows for a lovely breeze allowing us to hear boating activity and hear the birds all day. Restaurants galore, grocery stores, and shopping from antique to thrifting all within a short drive…and just a short walk to the beach! Up on the penthouse level there was a beautiful fully stocked library, a gym with some really sophisticated equipment and a billiard room. The owners have a very detailed book that includes recommendations of places to visit and preemptively answers many questions you may have. Everything was just right for a perfectly relaxing week. Unfortunately we’ve had a few bad experiences renting beach houses in the past but you shouldn’t hesitate to rent this condo. Also of note is the realtor Landie Canfield .. she was on top of everything and immediately responsive when we had a question. Lastly, thank you to the owners for not only sharing your lovely condo but by making it a truly homey, comfortable vacation experience. We look forward to returning next year!

This was one of the best VRBO experiences we have had! Property Manager Extraordinaire, Landie, at Away By the Sea was exceptional! Communication was prompt and extra courteous. I am a germaphobe due to health concerns and Landie's team made sure the place was sanitized and spotless! Best I've ever seen! The condo is spacious, organized and equipped with everything you could need. The furnishings are high-level and comfy! The huge corner deck is perfect for unwinding by the beautiful Sound waters of Bogue Banks. Sunrise AND sunset were visible from there. We appreciated the covered parking and security measures to access the elevator. Highly recommend this property and we hope to be back.

I cant say enough about this beautiful condo and the host. We needed xtra accommodation and it was perfect . Our host helped in every way. . The island was beautiful and we where in perfect location to explore eeach side . Will always stay when can here. Thank you so much

What a fantastic place! The space is huge, beautifully decorated, and an amazing view over the sound. We would definitely stay again.
